I will definitely be mentioning this band more than once in my posts. It is one of the most popular bands in Portugal and is slowly gaining its much deserved recognition all over the world.
Their unique sound might be described as kuduro, progressive kuduro, grime or even breakbeat. Truth be told it is a bit of everything and is like nothing else.
Band memebers are Lil'John, Riot and Conductor got their band name from Buraca, a place in the city of Amadora, part of the Lisbon Metropolitan Area.
Their first successful single was "Yah!", vocalized by Angolan MC Petty, who also participated in the single "Wawaba".
For now I leave you with one of their latest singles, "Sound of Kuduro" which features M.I.A., DJ Znobia, Saborosa and Puto Prata.
